Student Activities

The KME Honor Choir represents Kings Manor at district festivals and concerts throughout the year.

STEM honor society is for students who are passionate about STEM and want more opportunities to pursue these types of challenges and careers. Student members of the STEM Honor Society are expected to:

• Attend monthly after school meetings

• Maintain a B (80 or higher) average in all core classes

• Participate in STEM enrichment activities

Students members of the STEM Honor Society have several roles, including:

• Electing officers or serving as an officer

• Representing KME at STEM events 

• Completing special STEM projects during after school meetings

The KME News Crew is responsible for writing, editing, recording, and producing the daily video announcements. News Crew participants are expected to:

• Maintain passing grades in all subjects
• Be a school leader and set a good example for others with your behavior
• Be in the library no later than 8:00 a.m. each day to work on the announcement videos
• Potentially appear on KME social media sites in pictures or videos as part of the news crew (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc)

Student members of the News Crew have several roles, including:

• On-camera reporter/anchor
• Video editing on WeVideo
• Off-camera roles such as director, lighting, production, and photography
