Ashley Larkey
Mrs. Larkey began serving as principal of Kings Manor Elementary in January 2025. Over the course of her career, she has served as a classroom teacher, school counselor, and assistant principal at both the elementary and secondary levels. These diverse roles have shaped her student-centered leadership style and her strong commitment to creating a positive, supportive learning environment for all.
Originally from Central Texas, Mrs. Larkey and her husband, Chett, relocated to the Houston area in 2022. Outside of school, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her dogs.
Mrs. Larkey is honored to lead the incredible students, staff, and families of Kings Manor Elementary and looks forward to a year filled with growth, connection, and success.
Assistant Principal

Christian Salem
Mrs. Christian Salem is an educator with more than 23 years of experience in public education. Throughout her career, she has taught kindergarten, second grade, third grade, and fourth grade, and also served as a behavior coach for four years. These diverse experiences have given her a strong foundation in instructional leadership, student support, and building positive school communities.
Mrs. Salem earned a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in education and a master's degree in early childhood education, both from Hampton University.
Born and raised in Springfield, Ohio, Mrs. Salem has been happily married for 21 years. She and her husband have two wonderful sons, Christopher (18) and Mason (8), along with two 10-year-old German Shepherds, Onyx and Izzy. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, taking long walks, and watching Netflix.
Mrs. Salem joined the Kings Manor Elementary family in January 2025 and is honored to serve the students, staff, and families of KME. She believes every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and challenged each day. Mrs. Salem is committed to building strong relationships with students, staff, and families while fostering a positive school culture where everyone can thrive. She looks forward to continuing to support the Kings Manor Elementary community and making the 2026–2027 school year a successful one for all.
Assistant Principal

Rayshuna Miller
Dr. Rayshuna Miller brings 12 years of experience in education, including serving as a junior high mathematics teacher, instructional math coach, and assistant principal. Throughout her career, she has partnered with teachers and students to strengthen instruction, align curriculum to standards, build effective academic systems, and create meaningful learning experiences that support academic growth and achievement.
She believes every student deserves a safe, supportive, and high-quality learning environment. She is committed to empowering teachers, fostering strong relationships, and cultivating a positive campus culture where every student, staff member, and family feels valued. Her passion for instructional excellence, data-driven decision-making, and collaborative leadership guides her work as she supports continuous improvement and success across the campus.
Dr. Miller earned her doctorate in educational leadership from Sam Houston State University, further strengthening her commitment to servant leadership, instructional excellence, and student achievement. She is proud to continue serving the Kings Manor Elementary community and looks forward to building on the campus successes while partnering with teachers, staff, students, and families to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
Outside of school, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, children, and extended family. Born and raised in Huntsville, Texas, she is a proud Sam Houston State University alumna—Go Kats!
