Kaycie Higdon
I am humbled and honored to introduce myself as the Assistant Principal at Kings Manor Elementary. I am looking forward to working with our dedicated staff, parents and community partners on our journey to excellence.
After graduating from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, I began my teaching career in Aldine ISD. During my time in Aldine ISD I taught both second and fourth grade and served as team leader and new teacher mentor. During this time, I obtained my master’s degree in Educational Administration from Sam Houston State University. I then transferred to Kings Manor Elementary where I have been working hand in hand with our students, families and community partners since 2018. At KME I served as a second grade teacher before transitioning into a leadership role as Student Success Coach and now Assistant Principal.
It is truly a privilege to be a part of a community where staff, parents and families are on the same journey to reach, inspire and achieve academic, social and emotional excellence to prepare our students for the reality of tomorrow.
