KME will be a closed campus on our mock and STAAR testing days. This means all visitors must stay in the front office and may not enter the school hallways or classrooms (no lunch visitors).

New Caney ISD is proud to announce that the counseling deparmtnets at BFES, DES, KCMS, KMES, NCE, PVMS, PHS, VRE, WFHS, and WOMS earned the CREST Award, setting the district record for the most campuses recognized in a single year.

In accordance with Texas Senate Bill 12, 89th Texas Legislature, which goes into effect on September 1, 2025, the district is required to provide notice of each health-related service offered at a student’s campus. Each school year, parents must provide consent in order for their student to receive health related services during the school day.
